Peptide information online sits in two piles: vendor pages that exist to sell something, and forum threads where a rodent study becomes a dosing protocol in four replies. Neither is a reference. DB Peptide is the third option.
What we do differently
Alphabetized, not ranked
The index is in strict alphabetical order. Nothing is promoted, boosted, or floated to the top because of a commercial relationship. If you know the name, you can find it in one look.
Graded on evidence, not enthusiasm
Every compound carries an A–F grade describing the strength of its published literature. Several popular compounds grade poorly. That is the point — the grade tells you how much is actually known.
Primary sources, with PMIDs
Every claim traces to PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov or approved labelling, cited so you can check it. We do not reproduce figures whose origin we cannot identify.
Two reading levels
Each mechanism is written twice: once in plain English, once in full pharmacological detail. Both ship in the page. Neither is dumbed down — they are for different readers.
Nothing behind a login
Every profile, calculator and article is public. The protocol tracker is the only part that needs an account, and it holds your data, not our content.
How this is funded
Affiliate commissions on supplier links, and eventually sponsorship slots that are labelled as such. There is no shop, no products, and no cart — this site does not sell compounds and never will. That separation is deliberate: a reference that sells the thing it grades cannot be trusted to grade it.
No commercial arrangement has ever influenced an evidence grade, and none ever will. Grades come from published literature. Suppliers qualify on published criteria or they are not listed.

Profiles are added when there is primary literature to build them from. A missing compound usually means the evidence base is not there yet — and we would rather publish nothing than publish a page built on forum consensus.
