Common calculator questions
01How is peptide reconstitution calculated?+
Concentration in mcg/ml equals the milligrams in the vial multiplied by 1,000, divided by the millilitres of bacteriostatic water. Draw volume equals the target dose divided by that concentration.
02What do “units” mean on an insulin syringe?+
A U-100 insulin syringe is marked at 100 units per millilitre, so one unit represents 0.01 ml. The markings measure liquid volume—not the amount of peptide.
03Are 30, 50, and 100-unit syringes different scales?+
No. They use the same 100-units-per-millilitre scale. Their barrel capacities differ: 0.3 ml, 0.5 ml, and 1.0 ml.
04Does adding more water change the total peptide?+
No. More water lowers the concentration, so the same dose requires a larger draw volume. It changes measurement precision, not the total amount in the vial.
05Can several peptides share one vial?+
A single draw delivers every target dose only when the compounds’ vial amounts and target-dose ratios align. The blend calculator identifies when they do not.
