A Russian-developed dipeptide anxiolytic acting on cholecystokinin signalling. Published human data is confined to a small number of Russian-language studies.

Overview

Cholecystokinin is best known as a gut hormone, but in the brain it also drives anxiety and, at high enough doses, panic. Compounds that block the CCK-B receptor have long been investigated as anxiolytics that would not carry benzodiazepine baggage. GB-115 is a very short peptide designed around that idea, from the same Russian institute that produced Selank and several other dipeptide drugs.

Why is there so little information about GB-115?
